About Theatre Trips with Fiona
Hello, I'm Fiona, and thank you so much for visiting. If we have never met before, I hope it will not be long before we do. If you have travelled with me already, thank you for your continued support. It really does mean the world to me.
My aim has always been to offer more than just coach trips. I want every outing to be something you genuinely look forward to, where you can relax, laugh, meet lovely people and create wonderful memories. Nothing makes me happier than hearing someone ask, "When is the next one?" as they step off the coach.
How Theatre Trips with Fiona began
People often ask me how it all started, and the honest answer is that it began with a simple love of theatre.
- Early 2000s
A family love of theatre
I would regularly head into London's West End with my mum, husband, daughters, aunt and cousins. We made so many wonderful memories together and looked forward to every single trip.
- The idea
One shared minibus
When the train journey became a little too much for my aunt, we found that buying our theatre tickets together meant a much better price. Someone suggested hiring a minibus, and it seemed like a brilliant idea. So we did.
- Word spread
From a 29 seater to a full coach
Friends invited neighbours, neighbours invited their friends, and before long the minibus had become a 29 seater, and then a full sized coach. For years we happily headed to London about once a month to see all the latest West End shows.
- 2020
The pause, and a big decision
Then everything stopped overnight. Like everyone who loves theatre, I could not wait for the curtains to rise again. When they finally did, I took a chance and made Theatre Trips with Fiona my full time career, encouraged by my friend Nicola, who runs a successful coach trip business in Southend.

Wonderful days out, most weeks of the year
Alongside fabulous West End shows we now visit beautiful towns and villages, stately homes, gardens, Christmas markets, concerts, race days and seaside resorts, and we even enjoy the occasional short break away.
From a handful of family theatre tickets to hundreds of unforgettable days out, Theatre Trips with Fiona has grown through word of mouth, friendship and a shared love of making memories.

The thing I love most is not just the places we visit, it is the people. I have watched complete strangers become lifelong friends on my coaches. I have seen people regain their confidence, make memories with their families, and simply have something exciting to look forward to. That means the world to me.
Whether you are travelling on your own, with friends, or bringing the whole family, you will always receive a warm welcome. I still get just as excited now as I did over twenty years ago when everyone climbs aboard and we set off for another adventure.

Fiona Theatre Trips, days out and much more. Fiona had brought us so much happiness to our lives with her wonderful coach trips, I travel with my 97-year-old mum and disabled sister, and she goes above and beyond to make sure we are comfortable well looked after. From helpful reminders before each trip to dropping us off right outside the theatre, and we get fantastic seats, everything is so well planned and Fiona always checks to make sure that we have everything we need. Without these trips we simply wouldn't be able to enjoy these wonderful days out or create such special memories together. Thank you, Fiona, for all that you do - it means so much to us. Well worth going on Fiona's WhatsApp group. Always something that you would probably not know about or get around to booking yourself. Her customer service and usually only two pick up points (one if you live in the vicinity of Cheshunt) make her trips unique! Reasonably priced too. Had some fabulous trips with Fiona over 20 years.
I have been on quite a few trips with Fiona, theater and days out. The coaches are always clean and up to date with friendly drivers. The theater seats are always good. With Fiona always willing to help you with any questions. Wouldn't travel with anyone else now.

Frequently asked questions
What is included in the price?
For coach trips, your price includes return travel from your chosen pick-up point along with your show ticket or entry where applicable. Every listing tells you exactly what is included before you book.
Where do you pick up from?
We have two pick-up points: Thorley in Bishops Stortford, behind Sainsbury's, and Rosedale Way in West Cheshunt. You choose your nearest stop when you book, and your confirmation email gives the departure time.
Can I buy a ticket only, without the coach?
Yes. Many of our theatre trips offer a ticket only option if you would prefer to make your own way to the venue and meet the group there.
I would like to travel on my own, is that alright?
Absolutely. Many of our customers came on their very first trip knowing nobody at all, and have since made wonderful friendships. You will always receive a warm welcome.
What kinds of trips do you offer besides theatre?

How do I book and pay?
